Summarize Written Text Introduction

Summarize Written Text tests reading and writing. You will read a passage and write one sentence that summarises the main idea and key supporting information.

A strong answer is clear, grammatical and within the required word limit. It should not copy random phrases from the passage. You need to identify the main idea, connect key points logically and write one complete sentence.

中文说明：SWT 是阅读写作综合题。你需要读一段文章，然后用一句话概括文章主旨和重要信息。

高分答案必须是一句完整的话，并且符合字数要求。不要随便摘抄原文片段，要先找到主旨，再把关键点用逻辑连接起来。

What to focus on

• Find the main idea before writing.
• Choose only the most important supporting points.
• Write one complete grammatical sentence.
• Check word count, grammar and punctuation.

• 先找主旨，不要一上来就拼句子。
• 只保留关键支持信息。
• 必须写成一句完整句子。
• 最后检查字数、语法和标点。
