Fill in the Blanks (Type In) is a listening task. You will listen to a recording and type the missing words into a transcript.

This task tests listening accuracy, spelling, grammar and attention to detail. A strong answer requires you to listen for meaning, catch the exact word form and check whether the word fits the sentence.

中文说明：FIB Type In 是听力填空题。你需要边听录音边在文本空格中输入听到的单词。

这个题不仅考听力，也考拼写、单复数、词形和语法。听到词以后还要检查它在句子里是否合理。

What to focus on

• Read the transcript quickly before the audio starts.
• Listen for exact word forms, not just general meaning.
• Check spelling, plurals and verb forms.
• Use the surrounding grammar to confirm your answer.
