Highlight Incorrect Words Introduction

Highlight Incorrect Words is a listening task. You will see a transcript and listen to a recording. Some words in the transcript are different from what the speaker says, and you need to click the incorrect words.

This task rewards focus, tracking speed and accurate listening. You need to follow the transcript while listening and react quickly when the audio does not match the text.

中文说明：HIW 是听力找错词题。你会看到文本并听录音，文本中有些词和录音不一致，你需要点出错误的词。

这个题重点考注意力、跟读速度和听辨准确度。你需要边听边跟文本，一旦发现录音和文本不一致，要快速点击。

What to focus on

• Follow the transcript at the speaker’s pace.
• Do not read too far ahead.
• Listen for word changes, missing words and similar-sounding distractors.
• Stay calm if you miss one item and keep following the audio.

练习重点

• 按录音速度跟文本。
• 不要读得太靠前，否则容易错位。
• 注意替换词、漏词和相似发音干扰。
• 漏掉一个不要慌，马上跟回录音。
