Read Aloud Introduction

Read Aloud tests whether you can read a short academic text clearly, accurately and naturally. You will see a text on the screen, prepare briefly, and then read it into the microphone.

This task is not only about pronunciation. A strong response needs accurate word reading, clear pronunciation, steady rhythm and natural phrasing. Try not to rush. Your goal is to sound clear, controlled and easy to understand.

中文说明：Read Aloud 是朗读题。你会在屏幕上看到一段短文，准备后读出来。这个题不只是考发音，还考你是否能准确读出文字、保持流利度、节奏和断句。

练习时不要只追求快。更重要的是读准单词、减少漏读和改词，并让句子听起来自然、有停顿、有重音。

What to focus on

• Read every word as accurately as possible.
• Keep a steady pace and avoid long pauses.
• Use natural sentence stress and grouping.
• Finish before the recording time ends.

练习重点

• 先保证不漏词、不换词。
• 控制语速，不要因为紧张而越读越快。
• 按意思断句，不要一个词一个词地蹦。
• 录音结束前完整读完。

Course practice: Complete the four Introduction practice sets first. After that, move on to the main Read Aloud course and high-frequency practice.

课程练习：先完成 Introduction 的四组入门练习，再进入 RA 主课程和高频练习。
