RTS High-frequency Practice

Respond to a Situation assesses your ability to understand a practical situation and give a relevant, appropriate and complete spoken response. Identify your role, the listener, the purpose and the appropriate tone before you speak.

This course contains high-frequency university and everyday situations. Practise responding directly, covering every task requirement and speaking clearly and fluently.

Suggested response structure

1. Greeting and appropriate form of address
2. Background stated in the first person
3. A clear request, purpose or response
4. A relevant reason or practical detail
5. An invitation to respond and a polite closing

RTS 高频练习

Respond to a Situation 考查你理解实际情景并给出相关、得体、完整口头回应的能力。开口前要先判断自己的身份、沟通对象、交流目的和合适的语气。

本课程收录了大学与日常生活中的 RTS 高频情景。练习时应直接回应问题、覆盖所有任务要求，并保持清晰、流畅、符合情景的表达。

建议回答结构

1. 问候并正确称呼对方
2. 用第一人称转述情景背景
3. 清楚表达请求、目的或回应
4. 补充理由或实际细节
5. 期待对方回应并礼貌结束
